Chipotle 15.6″ Android PoE Kitchen Display System Monitor

By: Touch Guru
Touchscreen Guru was challenged with building a monitor for Chipotle to go over the grill in their current and new restaurants. This is a new monitor location and overall new software application utilizing Intel RealSense 3D Depth Sensor and OpenVino mounted above the make lines to alert the manager and employees to put more meat on the grill or what to cook when and order accuracy verification. This Intelligent device connects into the QSR/ KDS system or kitchen information system with ease. This Kitchen Information system (KIS) software and hardware are helping Chipotle scale their operation.
PoE or Power-over-Ethernet was important because there’s no AC wall outlet at the grill location and retrofitting electrical in 3,200 restaurants would be extremely expensive. Touchscreen Guru’s La Cocina Kitchen Display System series features two models- 15.6″ Hi-Heat plastic AIO touchscreen monitor and a 15.6″ stainless steel AIO touchscreen monitor.
Both Intelligent Devices Feature-
- Tru-Flat, High-Performance Sealed Multi-Touch system
- 500nit LCD Panel
- PoE – Power over Ethernet/ +External 12V DC Power Adapter
- Android 9.0 OS 4GB RAM/ 32GB ROM
- CPU RK3399 Quad-core ARM cortex-A72 + dual-core A53
- Full HD 1920 x 1080
Touchscreen Guru’s La Cocina Series is in 20 (POC) or proof-of-concept in Chipotle restaurants in California. Hopefully rolling out to a Chipotle near you in 2023.
